This Sunday, we are entering into that lovely part of our schedule cycle where we put our words and intentions into action and step outside our comfortable meeting space to help someone in a practical way. I find it refreshing in many ways!
Our friend Maranda lives way out in the wilds of Catharpin, VA (it’s actually just a couple miles north of Manassas). She’s got a fair bit of property to maintain, and she could really use our help. We’ll be working inside, spring-cleaning in her basement living area. And we’ll be working outside, pushing back the wild things. If you can help out, please come prepared to do whichever you prefer, or both.
We’ll plan to break the Holy Bagel of Eucharist (or whatever bread-like substance we have available) at 10:30, or whenever we have a quorum. You’re welcome to come when you can, and stay as long (or as short) as you like. Grills will be fired up at some point, and lunch will be consumed.
We hope you’ll join us!

PS. Please mark your calendar for another opportunity to roll up your sleeves and help a friend in need: Emmaline is moving from Woodbridge to Arlington (Westover) on Saturday, April 1. And whoa buddy, but Westover is a doggone treasure-trove of awesome eats and places to hang out when we’re done…
